We specialize in a variety of braiding styles, including box braids, cornrows, twists, faux locs, feed-in braids, knotless braids, crochet braids, and more. If you’re looking for a specific style, feel free to consult with one of our stylists for personalized recommendations.
How should I prepare for my appointment?*
We recommend coming to your appointment with clean, detangled hair to ensure the best results. If your hair needs to be washed or prepped, we offer wash and blowout services prior to braiding for an additional fee.
How long does a braiding session typically take?
The time needed for braiding depends on the complexity and length of the style you choose. On average, a session can last between 2 to 6 hours. More intricate or longer styles may take additional time. We will give you a time estimate during your consultation.
How long will my braids last?
With proper care and maintenance, most braid styles can last 4 to 8 weeks. We’ll provide you with aftercare tips to help maintain the health of your hair and prolong the life of your braids.
Do you offer braid touch-ups?
Yes, we offer touch-up services for braids, particularly around the edges where hair can loosen faster. This can extend the life of your style and keep it looking fresh for longer.
What type of hair extensions should I bring?
We recommend using 100% Kanekalon hair for most braid styles. If you are unsure about the type of hair needed, please contact us before your appointment and we’ll guide you in choosing the right products. We also sell high-quality hair extensions at the salon.
Can you braid short hair?
Yes, we can braid hair as short as 2-3 inches, depending on the style. For shorter hair, we may suggest specific braid techniques or extensions to achieve your desired look.
Do you offer services for children?
Yes, we offer a variety of braiding styles suitable for children. We recommend scheduling a consultation to discuss styles that will be comfortable, manageable, and appropriate for your child’s hair type.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book an appointment by calling us at 281 248 79 74, using the contact form or stopping by the salon. Walk-ins are welcome, but we encourage booking in advance to secure your preferred time.
What is your cancellation policy?
We kindly ask for 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Appointments canceled within less than 24 hours may incur a fee. Please contact us if you need to adjust your appointment time.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments. Please note that some braiders may prefer cash tips, though it is not required.
Do you offer consultations?
Yes, we offer complimentary consultations to discuss your hair type, preferred style, and any concerns you may have. This helps ensure we provide the best service and recommend the most suitable braiding style for your needs.
What not to do with braids?
Don’t over-tighten the cornrows, as this can lead to breakage. -Be careful not to pull too hard when brushing or combing through the cornrows, as this can also cause breakage. -Try to avoid sleeping on your cornrows, as this can cause them to become loose and frizzy.
